Flash Wizard® is so easy to use that amateur photographers can use it to setup unique exotic lighting faster than experienced Professional Photographers that do not have Flash Wizard®.
Studio Flash Wizard® makes it possible to know the correct flash distance and power setting for all studio lights in a matter of seconds. This is true even if you use a filter with a different filter factor (FF) on each light and are setting up for a fractional light-ratio - say, for example, 4.5 : 1. This even assumes that the lights do not have equal GNs. Under these conditions a Professional Photographer that does not have Studio Flash Wizard® would have to resort to using the flash meter and light ratio tables. He would have to guess at a position for the lights and take meter readings and keep moving the lights around and taking readings repeatedly until he arrives at correct exposure on the Main-light side of the subject. But the light-ratio still probably won't be correct so he would have to repeat the whole scenario over again and again..... Well, you get the point.
Studio Flash Wizard® enables the user to place each flash at the right distance and with the correct flash power setting to produce all the correct light ratios and correct exposure on the main-light side of the subject - always correct the first time.
Just
enter into the Palm® Handheld the variables that you want to use:
f-stop
ISO
5 different light-ratios
FF for each filter used on each light
In a few seconds
Studio Flash Wizard®
gives you the distances from all your lights to the subject and all the
power settings. It's that
simple! Set up the lights accordingly and the subject will have the
light-ratios selected simultaneously with correct exposure on the Main-light
side. Leave the flash meter in the drawer. Stop wearing out the
floor by continually sliding lights back and forth.
Color Background Flash Wizard® enables the user to use the same roll of black seamless background paper day after day regardless of the color he chooses for the backgrounds in the photos.
Just select a color and shade from a Color ImageTM (a color chart that you make as a permanent reference). You enter the Filter FF and the shade number you want into Color Background Flash Wizard and in seconds you are given the distance required from the background to the flashes and the power settings of the flashes. No experimenting. No test shots. No need for polaroid backs etc. - just the color and shade you selected.

An amateur's success story. To test how "user friendly" Flash Wizard® software is we invited an amateur photographer (not even a "serious" amateur) into our studio. We moved the lights all around randomly. We handed him the Palm® handheld with Studio Flash Wizard® and Color Background Flash Wizard® software installed. We told him the ISO of the film that was in the camera, and asked him to select light-ratios for the Main/Fill-light, Edge-lights and Hair-light, and to position each light at the distance from the subject as indicated by Studio Flash Wizard®. He also used Color Background Flash Wizard® to select and set up the color backgrounds. Then we asked him to photograph the model (also an amateur). |

See the results of the flash distances and power settings the amateur obtained from Flash Wizard®. How much easier could it be?

Using Edge-lights and Hair-lights is just as easy as using the Main-light and Fill-light. All the photos on this web site used the same roll of black seamless background paper with color filters on the background flashes! It's easy with Color Background Flash Wizard®!
